MIND HUBMind Hub is a non-profit organization founded in January 2020 in Brussels/Belgium. The primary mission of Mind Hub is organizing panel discussions, workshops, and training on a variety of subjects including social entrepreneurship, social responsibility and stress management for entrepreneurs. One of its focus groups is youth aged between 18-29 who have concerns with regards to the future and their career planning. Mind Hub helps its participants cope with uncertainty, develop leadership skills in times of uncertainty, and cultivate social solidarity through panels, networking events, and workshops. A specific emphasis of Mind Hub is giving a career planning vision to this young group especially in the pandemic conditions, as well as the daily increasing competitiveness of the job. Mind Hub participants are able to support themselves in the field of self-improvement. "Pushing boundaries in a new world", "Leadership in times of uncertainty", "Coping with ambiguity" and "Social Solidarity in times of Pandemic" were included in the sessions on helping young people chart their future in an ever-complex world. Mind Hub has also organized an event on the Future of Europe and the role of youth in Brussels. During the event, participants of various backgrounds debated on the current situation in Europe and the place of youth, the priorities of the EU throughout the Conference on the Future of Europe, whether the concerns of European youth are represented and how the EU can become ‘future-proof’ for its younger generations. Mind Hub team has EU affairs expertise, as well as work experience in EU institutions and within the EU Bubble. Given the fact that the Brussels Bubble puts forward a unique example of cultural and nationality-wise diversity, Mind Hub staff has a thorough experience of addressing multicultural audiences and developing curricula tailored specifically for such target groups. In 2021, the Brussels International Amity Orchestra (BIAO) was founded with the initiative of Mind Hub. The orchestra regularly performs concerts aimed at bridging cultures and peoples through the unifying power of music. In line with its mission, the orchestra consists of amateur and professional musicians of all ages from different nationalities. Its repertoire is composed of a wide range of music from classical to popular, as well as from eastern to western melodies. Currently, Mind Hub is part of a quadripartite Erasmus+ project, ‘Music 4 Inclusion’, with other parties coming from Belgium, France, and the Netherlands. The project aims to contribute to the social and cultural integration of people that have recently moved to a foreign country through the common activity of playing music.
